Over 50% of Uganda's population are under the age of 18. There are many children needing support in order to receive basic needs and have the opportunity to go to school. The VCM Child Sponsorship Program was created for vulnerable and orphaned children. The program currently reaches to those children in Kawanda Village and nearby communities. By sponsoring a child you will educate, empower and see a child with hope for their future and community.

How It Works

We have two levels of sponsorship to suit your budget.

​

1. $35 USD a month provides a vulnerable/orphaned child in the community home at VCM.

​

​The money you pay as a Sponsor covers  all the basic needs for your sponsored child including:

​

• education, including school fees, uniform, books, and materials

• food

• clothing

• accommodation

• health care 

1. $ 30  USD a month provides a vulnerable/orphaned child in the community.

The money you pay as a Sponsor covers, education, including school fees, food, books, and materials at C & K Nursery and Primary school Kawanda.​

What will you receive?

As a sponsor you will receive frequent letters from your sponsored child and the ministry, updating you on your child's progress. You will also receive a  Certificate of Appreciation at the end of each year, thanking you for all the support you have provided.
